Account Manager (retention and development) for a major UK major UK managed network services provider.

Up to £48k base plus 100% commission and £6k car allowance

London or Bracknell based.

The Account Manager role is designed to manage, develop and grow margin and revenue streams for nominated Corporate Accounts. Act as customer advocate and ensure contractual compliance, service excellence and the highest levels of customer satisfaction. . Duties and Responsibilities: Categorise the jobs into the 3-5 major areas of responsibility. Divide these into steps explaining the main activities % of time Re-active and pro-active account management of customers. • Make regular contact to your customers to discuss existing and new opportunities and arrange appointments as necessary • Attend regular customer service, account and opportunity reviews with all customers within the nominated accounts base. • Respond promptly to emails and calls from customers and setting an expectation to the resolution of their request(s). • Keep customers informed on products and campaigns via calls, meetings, emails and training. 40% Achieve Margin targets, KPIs, and reduce churn. • Targets are set at the start of the year and reviewed each quarter • Account Development Plan (ADP): Create and execute a business plan / sales strategy to achieve and exceed targets for the assigned territory. • Proactively contact nominated customers in order to renew services that are out of contract or due to go out of contract and to develop new opportunities within each customer • Follow up on cancellation and migrations requests from Customers requesting to close or take the business elsewhere. 40% Respond promptly to customers’ incoming requests in email or via the Sales Desk. • All emails need to be responded to within 8hrs with a resolution. If a resolution cannot be given then an expectation needs to be provided of when that will happen. 10% Manage projects and prospective deals with customers. • Liaise with other departments when required to manage projects and deals through to completion. • Support the Internal Sales department’s management as required. 10%
