Our client is a Digital Media and Publishing company operating in the medicine space. They are currently looking to recruit a pro-active and entreprenurial Account Manager to nurture and grow client accounts in the Medical Media side of the business.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a scientifically minded self-starter to who is adept at building relationships and enjoys taking on a challenge and working as a pivotal member of a fast paced and high performing team. This role requires someone who can work well with others as part of a successful team whilst maximising revenues across their own client base.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the end to end sales cycle and pride themselves on their commercial savvy.
The role is heavily commission focused with a REALISTIC earning potential of c£60,000/60,000 YEAR ONE and c£120,000 YEAR TWO (although high performers are earning far beyond this figurein year two…)
Essential Skills
- 18 Months+ in B2B Media, Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sales role (or similar) – ESSENTIAL
- Strong Account Management and Relationship Building Skills – ESSENTIAL
- Background in Sales / Customer Relations – ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience of meeting sales targets and growing accounts in the media / scientific / medical industry
- Subcription based sales experience (Desirable)
- Target Driven and enjoys a challenge
- Self-motivated, driven and tenacious – can bounce back from set backs
- Is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Possesses strong levels of resilience and can thrive in challenging circumstances
- Is aligned to our client values (Loyal, caring, honest, hard-working, understanding, inclusive, high standards, proud, curious and positive) with high degrees of integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Proven experience of meeting sales targets and growing accounts in the scientific/medical industry
- Experience in using a CRM database
