1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst ( Windows ) is required to join a prestigious London university on a 6 month contract. As the 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst ( Windows ) you will be working with a very large user base of around 45,000 staff and students across multiple different platforms. Due to the complex nature of the desk a minimum 12 months experience on either a college or university service desk is required.

The 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst ( Windows ) will have a real passion for customer service and a strong ability to multi task. The successful applicant will be required to keep existing customer tickets updated whilst prioritising and providing support to new tickets that come in, you will be expected to handle an average of 30-40 calls per day.

As the 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst ( Windows ) you will be a self-motivated and well-organised team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a methodical approach to tasks. Be able to work effectively on your own, under pressure of deadlines and be able to prioritise own workload.

As the 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst ( Windows ) you will have:

• Minimum 12 months College or University service desk experience
• Strong customer service experience
• Strong Knowledge of a Windows based environment
• Previous experience working with active directory
• Solid understanding of an ITIL support role
• Microsoft certifications (not essential)

SKILLS: ACTIVE DIRECTORY / EXCHANGE / ANDROID / OFFICE / WINDOWS

Based in Central London the IT Service Desk currently operates between 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday; the successful candidate will have a flexible attitude and be able to adjust to the operational needs of the department as and when required.
