We are now recruiting an Integrated Account or Senior Account Manager for our client Birmingham based client. This is an integral position within this established and successful Design and Marketing agency focussing on corporate communications. The Account/Senior Account Manager will work with key clients to develop corporate reporting and comms, brand identity and marketing communications. With three other offices, the company has 100+ employees; success is born out of steady and organic growth.

About the role

As Account/Senior Account Manager, you will predominantly deliver print based projects to tight deadlines and within budget. As the primary point of client contact for some of the largest accounts, you will be responsible for co-ordinating all parties (internal and external) to ensure the complete and on-time delivery of all agreed activity.

  • Project manage multiple projects of all types
  • Take and write briefs
  • Prepare project costs and prepare project plans and time schedules
  • Attend client meetings
  • Brief creative team
  • Present creative work
  • Prepare contact reports and project progress reports
  • Plan work into studio via trafficker
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Prepare invoices for review
  • Organise and maintain client files and update job records
  • Provide management team with project status and gross profit information on all projects as requested
  • Explain to clients the full range of our clients offer, their key propositions and client list
  • Identify potential opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell our clients products and services and explain them to senior colleagues
  • Be recognised by clients as the key day to day contact for the delivery of their projects

About you

You will need first-rate communication, organisational and project management skills, along with the ability to work with a team of diverse individuals. You will be a confident and articulate communicator, with a keen eye for detail and ability to juggle competing priorities. This is a very cohesive and friendly team who will welcome a new addition and if you don’t already have the corporate comms expertise to include annual reporting, they will teach as long as you have a minimum of 3/4 years agency experience and the passion to learn.

  • Previous corporate communications/ integrated design agency experience ideally but not imperative
