Our client, a specialist firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to add a Practice Accountant to their team.
They are highly regarded in their field and have grown steadily, but considerably over the last fifteen years by providing exceptional service to their clients.
This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Practice Accountant ( or near to qualifying) to join this established Practice in Gloucestershire and enjoy a varied role supporting the Partners and interfacing with clients over their queries and giving advice on computer/Sage issues.
You will have practice experience, be ACCA/ACA qualified or at the very least part qualified with effective communication skills and the desire to succeed. Tasks within the role of the Practice Accountant will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparing management accounts for a portfolio of clients
- Managing workflow and accounts delivery on the portfolio, working closely with the Partners
- Liaison with clients to ensure timely receipt of information to allow accounts to be prepared. Visiting client sites to provide support to prepare management accounts
- Preparation of draft statutory accounts and supporting year-end schedules for review
- First point of contact for dealing with accounting queries from clients
- Design and set up of management reports tailored to client requirements
- The client will look at candidates seeking part time hours.
