1-1 Teaching Assistant Sen Wirral

Excell supply are currently recruiting for a cheerful and committed Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school on the Wirral on a temporary basis to cover sickness, maternity, long term and short term. The role entails working on a 1:1 basis with children with a range of additional needs. The school wishes to appoint a person who is caring, sensitive and who has an abundance of experience working on a 1:1 basis with children with Special Education Needs.

You will be working closely with the class teacher and also liaise with the parents and other professionals. The successful candidate will be able to:

• Be open minded and caring
• Maintain firm boundaries in a calm manner
• Work to develop positive relationships with the child, colleagues, parents and external agencies Break learning into manageable tasks
• Have a Nurturing and caring outlook and remain calm under pressure
