Senior Analyst / Manager – Model Risk Audit – Bulge Bracket Bank

Gresham Hunt have partnered with a Bulge Bracket Bank in their search for a Senior Analyst or Manager grade professional to join their Model Risk Audit team in a full-time role.

Requirements:

• Strong educational background in a STEM related field (Masters or PhD) or 2 – 7 years of experience within a quantitative. modelling, AI or stats centered area
• Excellent interpersonal skills that will allow you to communicate with key stakeholders throughout the business
• Demonstrable understanding of models that are used in a banking or insurance group
• Solid understanding of analytical software programs (Python, VB, SQL, SAS, R & MatLab)
• Basic understanding general compliance & regulations that affect a banking group

Responsibilities:

• Liaise & challenge with senior stakeholders and articulate findings in a clear & concise manner
• Assist the Head of Audit with maintaining the audit plan & by contributing to the risk assessment, risk universe when required
• Adhering to the audit plan and following through with the audit methodology while also providing well thought out ways on how to streamline processes
• Understand the specialist areas within the Credit Risk Audit team from an oversight point of view with regards to business areas, models, products & associated risks
• Assist team members with their development while showing an interest in upskilling yourself
