Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Graduate Bookkeeper to join our management accountancy firm. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to apply their accounting knowledge in a fast-paced and growing business environment and to work on some very exciting clients from the world of fashion ecommerce.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and manage ledgers for our clients.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline accounting processes.
• Provide assistance with tax preparation and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Engage actively in financial audits.
• Use accounting software to maintain records and create reports.
• Liaise with clients to resolve accounting discrepancies and queries.
• Adhere to all accounting principles and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Whilst Pie Financial is a startup mangement accountancy, you will be based in the Jewellery Quarter at the HQ of the Layer Cake Group and work amongst the team at Cake Agency.
