Chemistry Teacher

Coba Education, a leading education specialist agency, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join a vibrant school in Ilkley. This exciting opportunity is a temporary position starting in April and concluding at the end of the summer term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Engaging Chemistry Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons that captivate students’ interest and promote a love for learning.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the chemistry curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current educational standards.
• Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to excel in their studies.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a well-disciplined and organized classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental initiatives, and participate in school-wide activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
