Position: Senior/Junior Internal IT Technician
Salary: £24,000-£30,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: On-site
We are currently assisting an organisation in their search for a proficient Senior/Junior Internal IT Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Senior or Junior IT Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support within the organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to their ongoing digital transformation and cloud migration projects. The role will also involve ad-hoc activities and encourage training via courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective 1st and 2nd line IT support via the helpdesk and direct interactions in a primarily Microsoft environment
- Repairing and maintaining hardware (e.g. printers, laptops, PCs, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with the IT Services Lead and Infrastructure Lead on various 3rd line tasks and projects.
- Leverage your prior experience in 1st and 2nd line support.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, adeptly resolving diverse technical issues.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain flexibility and a proactive attitude in tackling the range of IT challenges.
- Display meticulous organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work autonomously or within a broader team.
- Hold a valid driving license and possess a vehicle for fulfilling travel obligations linked to the role.
- Experience in an education setting
