You will work closely with the Partnerships Manager and collaboratively with colleagues to ensure opportunities are not missed and that income potential is maximised. Developing and nurturing a strong network of volunteers will be key to your success, as you raise our profile and motivate others to join our community of fundraisers. As part of a wider team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our exciting new fundraising strategy across the East side of the county.
- Take a proactive lead in identifying fundraising opportunities across the East of Somerset by engaging with and developing partnerships with a wide range of community stakeholders.
- Support the initiation, development and running of community events organised on behalf of, and in aid of, the charity ensuring that fundraisers receive adequate support, information, and materials to maximise their impact.
- Be an ambassador, representing the charity at community events
- Support the planning and development of existing and new community fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are implemented cost effectively, and evaluated to inform future plans.
