Position – Apprenticeship Assessor
Location: Home based with occasional travel when required for learners based in Kent
Salary: From £30,000 – £32,000 (OTE of up to £6,000 per annum in KPI related bonus)
We’re looking for an energised, passionate and experienced EYE industry specialists who can deliver Early Years Educator/Childcare apprenticeships and join our growing team as a Personal Tutor!
In this role you will support a minimum level funded and diverse cohort/caseload of learners through their apprenticeship journey, providing an outstanding teaching and learning experience to every learner, every time and inspiring success. With your unique edge, energy and passion, you’ll help shape the minds of the future for the industry’s leading training provider in the Early Years sector and execute a mind-blowing performance in all that you do.
This role is about providing an award-winning service to learners and employers, keeping quality training at the heart of what you do, and some of the key responsibilities are:
- Ensure learners are fully prepared with a completed portfolio in preparation for EPA Gateway
- Engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners to achieve their work-based qualifications
- Using technology and differentiated, impactful, and innovative teaching and learning techniques
- Deliver consistent levels of great service to all in line with our Learner Promise to retain learners and employers
- Ensure learners are fully prepared with a completed portfolio in preparation for EPA Gateway
- Recruit for learners and employed apprentice opportunities as appropriate to maintain minimum caseload levels
- Strive for business growth and achieve operational excellence targets
Requirements
What we need from you:
- Teaching qualification (AET, DET, Cert Ed, PGCE)
- Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, V1)
- Experience of delivering EYE apprenticeships
- Relevant occupational competency within the EYE sector, at a minimum of supervisor level
- A strong track record of supporting learners through End Point Assessment
- Ability to manage a caseload of learners with varying learning requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications
