Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
We are currently looking for an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to join our dynamic growing client in the Swindon, Wiltshire area.
The successful candidate will be leading all aspects and activities in all areas of operation within a fast-paced and high-volume distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing, developing and leading staff effectively to motivate employees and maintain highest levels of productivity and engagement within the workplace
• Managing cost control and budget functions effectively to meet business objectives and add value to business success
• Controlling and monitoring staffing levels
• Carrying out regular team meetings effectively
• Ensuring all business aspects and activities comply with Health & Safety requirements, company policy and other ethical and legal obligations
• Working with internal departments to ensure the delivery of smooth business operations
Key Skills and Experience:
• Experience of working within a similar role
• Experience in team leadership/management/operations planning
• Results-oriented, problem solving, hands-on approach
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively and motivate employees to perform at their peak
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail skills
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage changing environments effectively
The working hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
The salary is £48,000 – £54,000/annum depending upon experience.
