Temporary Payroll / Compliance Officer

Salary: £15.6 – £18 per hour

Our client, a large UK wide multi academy trust, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support a cluster of primary schools in processing the staff payroll. Working with the central HR team, this is a full time, home based role.

You will collate all the relevant payroll information for hours worked, starters and leavers, pension information and resolving any queries relating to teachers and support staff pay. Coupled with this, you will be required to administer pre employment checks, ensuring ID documents are current and conducting DBS checks for new and existing staff.

Previous experience of school payroll is essential for this role and a good working knowledge of iTrent is desirable.

Working from home, you will be a self starter and be confident in managing your own daily schedule, excellent attention to detail is paramount for this role. You will conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, and can demonstrate a calm approach to resolving queries.
