Trainee Prestige Car Sales

Trainee Car Sales Executive wanted for successful prestige motor group with a dealership in the Torquay area. The successful candidate MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN FACE TO FACE SALES in any other industry and experience of sales of high value items (phones, kitchens etc) is particularly sought after. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, providing customers with excellent service in the showroom and working to sales deadlines and targets. Full training will be provided for anyone not currently in the motor trade but a FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL and due to insurance restrictions you must be aged 21 or over. The working week will include every Saturday and some Sundays on a rota basis. You must have a smart appearance and be well organised, polite and have the drive to be the best. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for cars or sales to begin a lucrative career in the motor trade.

In your first year we would expect you to earn circa £25000 – £30000 OTE (made up from standard basic for the motor trade of £12000 + expected commission from sales) AND there is a company car with this job after a probationary period. Please note that experienced car sales people would have a much higher OTE (£40k+) so you should expect your OTE to increase in subsequent years as your experience develops.
