My Client is a leading manufacturing business based to the west of Newcastle who manufacture bespoke components for industries such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals and Electronics. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to bring an Assembly Operatives into the business on a temporary to perm basis to work a permanent back shift basis.

The Role:
As Assembly Operative, the successful Candidate will be responsible for:

• Working with small components/close up work
• Mechanical assembly and soldering
• Picking and packing orders
• Working as part of a team

• Must maintain a clean working environment at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience in mechanical assembly
• Be able to solder small components
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Be flexible in their approach to work

• Be happy to clean work areas as required

• Be happy to work back shift as business demands

Due to the location, this would ideally suit a car driver. There are public transport locations but there is a bit of a walk from the closest stop.
