Production Operator / Technician

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Main Aims:
Assemble & test cabinets & products to correct processes & procedures.
Work to Quality procedures for build & checking.
Work with production team leader & production team members to ensure the effective implementation of all production all production build plans.
Work alongside & as part of production team.
Ensure all build paperwork & databases are fully documented & maintained with correct information.
Packing of systems for shipping.
Assist with stock takes & notify team leader of possible stock shortage at other times.
Follow Health & Safety policy & procedures within department & warehouse & ensure safe working practices are adhered to.
perform other duties as assigned by the manager from time to time.
Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
Proven experience in a production environment or similar role.
Able to follow written instructions & keep written records.
Steady hand & good hand to eye co-ordination.
Previous experience using soldering equipment is preferred but not essential.
Able to work accurately in a methodical way with attention to detail.
Good oral & written communication skills.
Good working knowledge of basic computing skills.
Commitment to self development.
Willingness & flexibility as regards working on different types of products & in different areas.
A level/NVQ level 2 & 3
Safety shoes are required to be worn at all times. Must be car driver/owner due to location.
Temp. £ pay = £26,000 agy & £10.82 overtime
