Marketing Manager

Your Skills and Experience
– Graduate with a university degree, and ideally a marketing qualification
– Events marketing experience
– Excellent copywriting skills for marketing collateral
– Strong presentation skills with ability to present at a high level
– Team player, self-sufficient, proactive
– Ability to translate marketing strategies into campaign plans and audience benefits
– A knowledge of a broad range of marketing practices
– Good business acumen and a strong attention to detail
– Strong communications skills – both verbal and written
– Able to work under pressure, handle multiple projects, deal with conflicting deadlines
– Computer literacy – competency in Microsoft Word, Excel (experience of managing large data sets)
– Creative and results driven
Main Responsibilities
– Events and publication marketing and promotion
– Delivering on set marketing plan objectives through successful self-generated ideas, creative thinking and
commercial acumen
– Ensuring that campaigns are delivered to the set brief, on time, within budget and communicated through to the
relevant channels
– Updating and managing website content & SEO
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and competitor activity, carry out market research and
utilize findings to develop improvements
– Manage the planning and content for offline marketing materials, including leaflets, magazines posters, newsletters
and flyers. This will involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with our design team
– Launch and manage social media campaigns
– Maintain, build and update mailing databases
– Internal communications
– Assisting on production of project pitches
– Managing campaign calendar to ensure all plans and strategies executed on time
