Production Operators

Due to continued growth Connect Appointments has a fantastic opportunity for experienced Production Operators for our client’s state of the art manufacturing site in the heart of Hamilton.

If you have previous experience of working within an industrial/manufacturing environment within the last few years then your skills will be transferrable to the role we have on offer.

The duties include:

Basic operating of production/manufacturing equipment
Loading and unloading materials on to production lines/machinery
Carrying out routine product quality checks
Packing finished products into storage pallets
Liaising with other internal departments

The role requires staff to be flexible as shifts may change at short notice and you must be comfortable with standing for 12 hours as the shifts are Dayshift – 7am to 7pm & Nights 7pm to 7am.

The role is Temporary on going and all shifts are allocated on a weekly basis.

The site is a 24/7 operation and although the shifts are primarily spread over Monday to Friday there are Saturday & Sunday requirements, therefore ALL staff must participate in the weekend roster when production increases.

Salary: s are £26,000per year for both dayshift & Nightshift.
