SEN Teacher (Science)

Salary: £168 – £264 per day

We are working with an Alternative Provision (AP) in Ipswich, Suffolk who are looking for a Science Teacher to work within their Alternative Provision (AP). The successful Science Teacher will be experienced in working with young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Science Teacher Responsibilities:

* Teaching learners in Key Stage 3/4

* Experience of planning and delivering lessons to learners at varied levels of ability

* Posses the right attributes in maintaining learner engagement

* Be able to communicate and work with class Learning Support Professional

* Be committed to ensuring consistency for the learners is met

Science Teacher Requirements:

* The successful candidate should have the relevant experience required in working with young learners with Social, Emotional, Mental, Health (SEMH)

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Be able to communicate with SLT, other Teaching Staff, SEN TAs, Parents and Carers

* Be able to commit to 5 days a week
