Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home

We are recruiting for Residential Care Workers for a leading childcare company across Shropshire and North Wales.

Job Overview
We are looking for Residential Care Workers for a leading childcare company which has been established for over 30 years. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to work with children from birth to 16 years old. There are a number of homes in the region specialising in providing care to children in one of the following areas; autism, learning difficulties, deep-routed trauma, child sexual exploitation, sexually harmful behaviour, and school refusal.

Requirements:

•Some understanding of working with children and young people with multiple complex needs. These can include any of the following; autism, learning difficulties, deep-routed trauma, child sexual exploitation, sexually harmful behaviour, and school refusal.
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a full driving licence

In addition, you need to be committed to providing an excellent level of care for our young people, enthusiastic in your approach to tough challenges, assertive in difficult situations and have great interpersonal skills.
Above all else, you need to be an excellent role model.
