Part Time Project Coordinator – Young Persons Project

Role: Part Time Project Coordinator
Location: Harrow
Hours: 21 hours per week
Rate: £14.4 ltd per hour

Our client a small charity based in Harrow who provide housing related support to vulnerable young people aged 18 to 24, require a Project Co-ordinator to join their team working within their Young Persons Worklessness Project. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to achieving their aspirations, being ready for employment, and enabling them in making a contribution to their community.

This is a part time role working 21 hours per week, it is essential you possess a current DBS check to be considered for this post.

Experience and knowledge required:

*Knowledge of homelessness for young people
*Experience of working with YP
*Experience of working with multiple agencies in partnership
*Experience of providing guidance on training/employment to YP
*Experience of identifying the needs of YP’s training, employment
*Ability to select volunteers and coordinate and monitor mentoring service
*Experience of report writing from data provided/available
*Experience of extracting information and producing report for senior management team
*Ability to deliver outcomes within tight deadlines
*Identifying skilled trainers/organisations to provide training
*Undertake the supervision of volunteers
*Negotiating skills
*Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
*Ability to conduct annual survey and present the findings to management
