Salary: £33.6 per hour
An exciting new opportunity is available for an experienced mechanical engineer to join my client’s textile production and manufacturing team to work on both machinery operating and maintenance duties on their production machinery. Their ideal candidate will have previous machinery maintenance and operation experience although training will be given.
Mechanical Engineer role:
Should you be successful your role as Mechanical Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for pro-active maintenance on textile machinery plant as well as working card / processing blends of different fibres with others in my clients hardworking and efficient factory. Training will be given if required.
Mechanical Engineer requirement:
Proven mechanical maintenance experience on production machinery
Textile machinery experience would be beneficial but not essential
Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or apprentice trained
Full clean driving licence
Fork lift truck licence a plus
Can work as part of a team and alone confidently
Mechanical Engineer package:
Salary – £33.6/£32k depending experience
Bonus paid annually on personal performance
Holidays 30 days including public holidays
Hours 08.00hrs – 16.45hrs
Full Time permanent position
