Quality Inspector

Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

SVC Solutions are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Surrey based client on a permanent basis.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Ensuring finished component conform to all customer and specification requirements
• Use of equipment including but not restricted to; Micrometers, Vernier Callipers, Bore micrometers, etc….
• Performing first off inspection (where required) to ensure operator has conformed to drawing/specification.
• Visual inspection of components to ensure full coating coverage where required.
• Ensuring all periodic testing is performed to specification/requirements.
• Assist the QM in investigating open NCRs to allow P & C actions to be performed.
• Working within health and safety and environmental requirements.
• Ensuring the inspection department paperwork is completed to specification requirements and to company procedure.
• Assist the QM (where required) in the maintenance of the company quality systems.

• An understanding of health and safety and COSHH issues.

Qualifications

• Good communicator at all levels.
• Level 3 NVQ in Engineering Technical Support (Quality Control) or equivalent experience.

• 2 Years electroplating inspection experience
