Recruitment Consultant (Huddersfield)

Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year

Yorkshire’s newest recruitment agency, Sky Recruitment Solutions, are currently recruiting for recruitment consultants to join our successful team in Huddersfield – own transport is essential as part of the role includes regular travel between Huddersfield and Elland.

This fantastic opportunity is to manage a large account up to 150 warehouse staff per day over a variety of shifts, and could also lead to branch based opportunities as we continue to expand.

Competitive basic salary, car allowance and a performance related bonus scheme would be part of the financial package available.

We are looking for a very well organised individual that has the experience of either onsite recruitment, or that has previously worked as an Industrial recruitment consultant.

This role will initially be 100% onsite therefore the ability to work independently is essential – relevant experience to be discussed at interview.

Hours may vary, so flexibility is essential, warehouse operations are 24/7 so a presence on site may be required at 6.00am, 14.00pm, or 22.00pm daily, and occasional weekends – out of hours mobile contact will also be required.

Our amazing clients are e-commerce award winners and industry leaders in online retail for appliances, laptops and furniture, and they are growing at a rapid rate.

Duties and Responsibilities

* To manage circa x100-150 candidates daily (numbers affected seasonally).

* To conduct inductions regularly (occasionally daily during peak periods).

* To ensure all candidates are fully suitable for work (checking ID, right to work/eligibility to work in the UK documents etc).

* Reference checking candidates.

* Build a strong relationship with the client – this means building relationships with the Operations manager, Shift Managers, Team Leaders and all other relevant stakeholders onsite, including attending daily briefings

* Build a great relationship with agency candidates.

* Reporting KPI’s on a weekly basis to the operations manager, and also maintaining close contact with Sky Recruitment Solutions management remotely

* Understand the importance of, and demonstrate to candidates, the health and safety procedures.

* Report into the Sky Recruitment Solutions Head of Client Relations and MD daily.

* Provide a high-quality service and maintain the highest business standards at all times.
