Temporary (To Possible Permanent) Assistant Accountant – Newbury
£13.00per hour Dependant on Experience
Our Client:
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s dealership in Newbury, to assist with the company accounts. You will be part of a small dealership accounting team based at in Newbury, ensuring dealership accounts are closely managed and accurately updated. Reporting to the Accountant, this role offers an excellent opportunity for growth
The Role:
- Assist the Dealership Accountant with the Ledgers, Balance Sheet & Month End Accounts
- Produce and finalise the weekly cashflow
- Track and review banking transactions, and complete daily banking routines including base book and bank reconciliations
- Actioning payment requests for transactions
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in an accounting role. You will have experience with an accounting software and intermediate Excel skills. In addition to your technical skills, you will also demonstrate the following strengths:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy within Accounts
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
