Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Engineer with both mechanical and electrical competence to join a well-know chilled, fresh, frozen and ambient food manufacturer in the Norfolk region.

You will be responsible for ensuring that plant performance is maintained at agreed levels, completing PPM to your own and the manufacturers schedules which will include start up, line set (safety, operations, technical and engineering), routine maintenance, and communicating requirements or issues to relevant personnel.

In addition to the completion of maintenance projects you will also receive, prioritise and complete works orders from engineering, technical, production and planning departments.

You will possess relevant engineering qualifications, (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering), have management level experience, and demonstrate experience of working within a FMCG environment (food in particular). In addition, PLC fault finding/diagnostics experience along with a strong health and safety ethic and HACCP would be beneficial.

The shift runs on a 12 hour, four on four off shift pattern, rotating from a 6am and 6pm start.

Salary for this opportunity is £37,800
