Warehouse Operative

Salary: £26,000 – £35,100 per year

We are seeking a warehouse operative for our client based in Westbury.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be part of the quality control packing and loading team, you will be required to have knowledge of the company’s procedures and the ability to understand the production plans,

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties would include loading products produced so that they meet a professional and the highest level of quality. Ensuring they are packed and secured to reduce any possible damage during shipment.

This position can be quite physical so a good level of fitness is required. Duties will involve

• Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines
• Ability to understand production programes and specifications to determine the amount and type of materials required to cover work required.
• Carry out checks on material/Products ensuring that it matches the quality required and programme demands.
• Providing management control of the quality processes
• Maintaining the quality of products
• Ensuring all processes are controlled and monitored.
• Troubleshooting manuafcturing issues
• Full valeting and inspection
• Use of sharps and air drills
• Wrap, bag sealing with sealing iron always ensuring safety, pack and box the product.
• Tag and label products.
• Load and unloading of finished goods
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.
• Ensuring the use of PPE is used.
• Maintain workstation in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion and any other reasonable duties required.

Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 16:30 Friday 08:30 to 15:30
