Reporting to the Home Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering a high quality service and developing our staff team.

The service provides expert care and support for people over the age of 65. They offer residential and respite care. They provide personalised care based on people’s choices, needs and wishes.

Responsibilities:
• Provide care for the residents on a daily basis undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required, including periods on night duty if necessary
• To oversee the service in the managers absence
• Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality
• Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes
• Contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research based practice
