Field Service Engineer required for a well established packaging machinery supplier that is experiencing a period of growth. Terrific package on offer with the chance to work on specialist equipment for a company with a reputation for excellent customer service and quality products. Work in a technical role in a small team of service engineers.

This family run company has been supplying specialist packaging machinery for over 40 years throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to a high workload they require an additional field service engineer to provide installation, service and maintenance support. You will play a vital role in being the face of a company which is known for excellent customer service. 

Your Responsibilities:

* Field Service Engineer 

* Covering Manchester and surrounding areas (occasional stay away)

* Installation, service and maintenance of packaging machines (flow wrap/shrink wrap)

* Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week plus overtime 

Your Skills and Experience:

* Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer

* Background from industrial service (manufacturing/FMCG/packaging or similar)

* Electro-mechanical fault finding experience 

* Electrically qualified (e.g. 18th edition / City & Guilds)

* Good hand tool skills, welding experience an advantage
