We are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Appliance Field Service Engineer. The company is part of a large group and is long established. You will be working with a wide range of well-known appliances.

This role is field based, and you will be paid door to door carrying out repairs and servicing to washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, hobs, fridge freezers and tumble dryers etc. You will be expected to offer excellent levels of customer service engaging with customers in their houses, listening to them and keeping them informed on progress. You will also be responsible for completing all relevant paperwork and managing your van stock levels.

The company expects a high level of customer service and will support you to achieve that by offering you product and customer care training in their company and with some Manufacturer assistance. For continuous support their company holds regular Engineers meetings and product training.

You must have the following;
Full UK driving license
Be able to pass a CRB check
Experience of domestic appliance / white goods electrical servicing
Good communication and customer skills
Confident in using a computer
Ability to work on own initiative unsupervised

Desirable;
A Gas qualification would be advantageous, but not essential
