Mechanical Fitter/ Fabricator
Malvern £23,000 – £25,500
Company Profile
A highly reputable and longstanding manufacturer of test products and systems with a state-of-the-art facility. Currently experiencing a period of growth, due to this they are now looking to expand their team. This company provide systems ranging from a new control and data logging system for an existing test cell through to a new turn key test cell complete with dynamometer, cooling systems, measurement equipment including integrated cell support infrastructure and independent safety protection solutions.
Job Profile
As the successful Mechanical Fitter/ Fabricator you will be working alongside and highly motivated and skilled workforce, setting up and operation of all types of assembly and fabrication and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties
* Machining
* Manual lathe turning
* Manual milling
* Assembly of bearings and shafts
* Alignment of shafts
* Electrical knowledge
* Ability to work on their own initiative and problem solve.
Skills & Experience
* Ability to work under minimal supervision
* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
* Manufacture any tooling necessary to produce components.
* Demonstrable track record of fabrication (TIG & MIG Welding, Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Thickness 1mm – 20mm
Hours & Benefits
