Assistant Building Services Engineer

The successful candidate will work within an expanding team within an international multidisciplinary consultancy.
The role will be to provide assistance to M&E design services across all stages of general build projects (design, construction, installation and commissioning). The successful candidate will be based at the Manchester office working within our M&E Department.
With the team being at an early stage of development this is a great chance to progress and advance by showing the right attitude and application.
The role although predominantly in building services will also require flexibility to provide knowledge of and solutions to other sectors of the business as requirements dictate.

Tasks

Assist with all technical aspects of building services design performed by the Company.

Liaise with professionals including structural engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors both internally within the Company and externally.

Ensure design compliance with current standards/building regulations/environmental and energy initiatives.

Maintain an on-going awareness of national and international standards of technical expertise and report any significant changes.

Essential Requirements

Relevant building services qualifications HNC/D or Degree – although candidates with a time served
