Engineering Supervisor

This is a good time to join this large business as they go from strength to strength supplying their product into the major retailers. Our client is looking for a Engineering Team Leader to join their successful team.

The shift pattern is Days, Monday – Friday, and they will pay £38,400 + overtime for the right candidate.

The Role

• Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will provide a pro-active approach to the prevention of equipment failure and ensuring the schedule PM is carried out as planned.
• Ensure that quality, waste and efficiency targets are met by working as an intergral part of the manufacturing team.
• Provide support to the team during breaks, absences and work together to ensure completionof thier duties.
• Ensure that all Work Oeders, PM’s issued to the shift are completed. Complete and check all necessary paper work.

The Candidate

• The successful candidate will have a formal qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Electrical Bias preferred with mechanical qualifications
• Minimum 2 years’ experience gained within a food manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate (Word/excel/windows based packages)

Desirable

• PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Temperature Control, Instrumentation, Welding, FLT License
