Field Service Engineer

The client is a major global manufacturer of forklift trucks and related materials handling equipment with depots in all areas of the UK.

As a consequence of a recent acquisition an excellent opportunity has arisen for a field service engineer to join the team in the Worksop area.

Based from home you will be responsible for attending customer site breakdowns in order to service and repair a range of electrical and mechanical forklift trucks and associated materials handling equipment.

In addition you will also be responsible for overseeing the preventative planned maintenance schedules at two key customer sites.

The successful forklift field service engineer must have worked in a similar role and it is essential that you have strong electrical diagnostic skills.

Those with previous experience of working on electrical forklifts will be at a distinct advantage and applications from individuals with the following backgrounds will also be considered; construction plant, aerial access, commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the UK MH sector and the successful forklift engineer can expect world class manufacturers’ product training, a very competitive base salary, a fully expensed vehicle for work purposes, overtime opportunities and on going professional development support.
