Position: Laboratory Technician – Research & Development – Micro Experience
Location: Egham
Duration: Approx 4 to 5 months
Rate: £14.4 PAYE
Our Client are looking for candidates with a reasonable amount of relevant Micro experience, preferably in Health care/Pharmacy or Beauty industries.
Microbial Efficacy Testing technician: This role is required to provide essential laboratory work for a antimicrobial/preservative efficacy project being run out of the European region. Working within a Research and Development Microbiology laboratory the candidate will take daily direction from the project lead and be expected to manage workloads, keep detailed experimental notes and keep to testing timelines and project deadlines. Previous Microbiology laboratory experience, safe handling of cultures, understanding of CoSHH and aseptic technique required. A background in chemistry or antimicrobial/preservative efficacy testing would be advantageous but not essential.
