QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

38 HOURS PER WEEEK – ROTATING SHIFTS
£26,000 per year (INC SHIFT ALLOWANCE)

THE ROLE

* Maintaining quality standards through in process and final inspection of in-house manufactured products as well as purchased items where applicable.

* Acting at all times in accordance with company Quality Systems and any relevant Standard Operating Procedures/Workflow Processes.

* Undertaking process inspections to ensure conformance to standards during manufacture, assembly and packing in accordance with the applicable SOPs and Quality procedures.

* End of batch inspection and recording of all test results in either electronic format or hardcopy.

* Clearly identify and log all stock while providing manufacturing with clear instructions on the activity that is required to address any issues identified.

* Raising non-conformance documentation as required as well as logging all NCRs

* Working with manufacturing to identify the root causes of non-conformances and determine the corrective actions that are required to prevent re-occurrences, ensuring that any findings and actions are rolled out to other products and lines.

* Light lifting and manual handling.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Previous experience of working in a QC Inspector role

* Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Good level of IT literacy with Word and Excel is required

* Problem solving and analytical skills

* Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities and function in a team environment

* Ability to work in extremes of temperature
