Shift Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £57,600 – £66,000 per year

SHIFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – PERMANENT – WILTSHIRE – £48,000 – £55,000 DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE

A leading pharmaceutical organisation based in Wiltshire are looking for Shift Maintenance Engineers to join their engineering team on a permanent basis, working days and nights shifts (6:45 – 7 rotating).

Working alongside other Shift Maintenance Engineers you will be responsible for the ongoing reliability of the production equipment by performing planned and reactive maintenance, carrying out fault finding and root cause analysis (RCA) techniques on breakdowns and implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement throughout site.

You will also need to complete all necessary documentation for the maintenance activities carried out to ensure compliance with GMP standards and regulations, this will include noting errors and making suggestions for equipment improvements. You will also take ownership for documentation for change controls, validations, installations etc. You will also be responsible for obtaining purchase orders, spares requests, quotations as well as controlling spares in an efficient manner.

Suitable candidates will be Multi Skilled experienced in both mechanical and electrical skills and will have strong experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing/ GMP environment i.e. FMCG, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace. Successful candidates will also have a formal engineering qualification i.e. HNC, HND, ONC, C&G (city and guilds) or time served/ completed an apprenticeship.
