Occupational Health Advisor

An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to work part time, Two days in shrewsbury and one day in Telford per week. Previous experience preferred and an MC registration pin essential.

The primary objectives are as follows:

* Maintain and promote workers – health and working capacity.
* Improve the working environment making it more conducive to health and well being.
* Develop organisational and working cultures to support health and well being, enhance productivity and promote a positive social climate.
* Demonstrate the benefits of providing an effective, cost efficient, progressive occupational health services.
* Screening programmes.
* Mandatory surveillance programmes.
* Statutory and non statutory medicals.
* Case management.
* Training.
* Well being programmes -e.g. health promotion campaigns.
* Production of case studies to promote best practice.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, this is an excellent opportunity for a determined and dynamic individual. This is a permanent position with an immediate start.
