Bilingual Luxury Travel Consultant
French or German speaking
Up to £25,000pa + commission
Central London
We are seeking an experienced bilingual/ multilingual (French or German or both) Bilingual Travel Consultant to join one of the world’s leading Luxury Travel Companies based in Central London.
As Luxury Travel Consultant you will be working within the Inbound Reservations Department EMEA, responsible for selling luxury holidays worldwide and any related add-on travel products to travel trade customers.
The successful Bilingual Travel Consultant will be fluent German or French (both spoken & written) and English (all 3 would be an advantage)
Responsibilities of the Bilingual Travel Consultant:
• To create luxury travel itineraries to travel trade customers (Travel Agencies, Independents etc)
• Adding any air, hotel, land & transfer arrangements
• Adding Air department for air specific requests
• Ensuring all guest information has been completed and accurate
• Troubleshooting minor challenges regarding reservations
• Interaction with Sales & Marketing teams and assisting (as required) with travel shows, events and travel partner visits/ training
Experience Needed as a Bilingual Travel Consultant:
• Minimum 2-3 years recent experience working within a Travel Reservations department (ideally luxury travel)
• Languages: English, French and/or German, fluent written and spoken (all 3 would be a great advantage) – Essential
• Competent telephone skills
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service
