Injection Mould Setter

Experienced and enthusiastic injection moulding machine setters required, various shifts available, to undertake accurate and efficient setting of machines and tools.

Duties to include:

Start up and shut down injection mould machines, as per instructions on setting sheets
Prepare for tool changes prior to current order completion.
Purge machines when necessary,
Set up robots.
Machines setting and plastic injection mould optimisation
Good Housekeeping (5S)
Ensure machines are kept tidy. e.g. tools not left on machine beds, etc.
Optimise machine Cycle times.
Ensure parts are running to cycle.
Participate in and actively promote the company’s CIP (continuous improvement program) looking for ways to continually make improvements and to reduce waste.
