Senior Highway Design / Infrastructure Engineer

FRAME are recruiting a Senior Highway Design Engineer for an excellent multi-disciplinary design consultancy;

The candidate will be experience and have an understanding of working directly with developers, local authority and architects for more than 2 years, with knowledge and understanding of highway engineering design and construction.

Full day to day activities include;
Full responsibility and Project management of technical schemes
– Design off-site highway features (junctions, roundabouts, link roads etc) in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
– Design estate roads in accordance with Manual for Streets
– Carry out flood risk assessments in line with PPS 25
– Design drainage networks in line with Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems
– Provide technical Highways Design and Flood Risk input to support planning applications

You will need;
– Relevant Qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or additional experience
– Ability to work with a team of Engineers and Graduates leading by example
– Experienced user of AutoCAD, Windes, PDS, Civil 3D
– Demonstrate excellent written and face-to-face communication, with clear and concise presentation
– Work closely with both Senior Staff and Managing Director on the proposal of new projects coming into the business
