We are privileged to be recruiting for a market leading global manufacturing company. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a Facilities Manager to join them. This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity.

Key Tasks for the Facilities Manager –

Develop and maintain a fully functional planned maintenance system ensuring that planned maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the scheduled maintenance plan

To collate and manage facility supplier issues ensuring supplier service levels are maintained

To manage the maintenance of buildings and to ensure that all building, environmental and other legislation specifications are met

Management of opening up & closing down procedures

Establish support and maintenance contractors for all buildings & fixtures

Controlling & monitoring issues from actions raised.

Responsible for H&S, COSHH, risk assessments and manual handling for all maintenance activities. Monitoring KIPS / Machine uptime to plan in collaboration with the HS Manager

Driving maintenance improvements

Managing all maintenance budgets inclusive of ordering spare parts, management & control of critical spares and planning annual maintenance budget

Creating a structured environment for maintenance activities in line with company policies

Continuous Improvement activities to reduce waste, cost and output
