Injection Mould Technician (Nights)

An opportunity has arisen within a busy trade moulding facility who are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic member to join their strong team. The Successful Injection Moulding Technician will be responsible for all the process improvements, troubleshooting and fault-finding within the night shift.

The successful Injection Moulding Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Set any job and improve existing sets to achieve most efficient and stable moulding process
• Support setters and troubleshoot their sets
• Fully troubleshoot complex injection moulding process
• Tool and process trials
• Help supervise and develop the Setters, Material Handlers and Operators
• Break down any problems and solve them

To be successful in your application as an Injection Mould Technician you will have previous experience working within a trade moulding facility and will be required to have previous strong injection moulding experience possibly within one of the following roles, Process Engineer, Injection Mould Setter, Plastic Moulding Technician or Setter / Technician. The ability to diagnose and make recommendations on improvements to tooling, mould machines and ancillary equipment, with full knowledge of health safety issues with all materials and machines is required for this role. Good to Outstanding polymer material knowledge with a good understanding of tool design and CAD drawings and expert experience of troubleshooting problems and solving them would be a distinct advantage.

Salary: circa £36,000depending on skills and ability on a fixed Night shift (8hrs).
