Senior Technical Support Scientist – Molecular Diagnostics

Our Manchester based client develops and manufactures in vitro Medical Devices and are recruiting for a Senior Technical Support Scientist to provide dedicated technical support to customers across the UK.

What does the job entail? As a focal point for customers, you will be required to provide direction and support with the installation, setting up and troubleshooting of systems / processes, primarily using automated liquid sampling equipment and associated apparatus. Providing customer training sessions will also be your remit.

If you’re someone who enjoys regular customer interaction (virtual and site visits), advising on technical matters relating to the use of liquid handling equipment and nucleic acid quantification instrumentation, then this customer facing position would be ideal for you!

Note – this role will require travel across the UK and staying away from home, therefore a flexible approach will be required.
