Job Title – General Foreman / Works Manager

Sector – Earthworks

Duration – 5 Months ( + ongoing work, performance dependant)

Rate -£312 – £360 per day

Engagement – Outside IR35 / CIS

My client is a Civil Engineering contractor who specialise in the delivery of Earthworks, Remediation, Stabilisation etc. and is looking to recruit an experienced Senior General Foreman / Works Manager with a strong Earthworks background to aid in the delivery of a new contract

The contractor is very busy across the midlands and there is a high likelihood of follow-on work being available (subject to performance).

Duties

• Reporting to a Site Agent / Project Manager
• Managing health & safety on site
• Toolbox Talks / Inductions
• Progress Reports
• Sub-contractor and direct labour Management

Your profile

• 3 years+ experience
• CSCS
• SMSTS / SSSTS
• First Aid
• Experience delivering Earthworks/Remediation, Roads, Highways etc.
• Committed, Enthusiastic, Strong work ethic, Independent thinker
