Infrastructure Engineer / Senior Engineer

The company are a well established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy operating in multiple sectors throughout the UK. Their Highways & Infrastructure team work with some of the UK’s top developers and schemes ranging from sports halls and retail stores to housing and major industrial developments.

They have provided external works designs including On and Off Site Highways and Infrastructure Design, External Works, Cut and Fill analysis, Section 38, 104, 278 submissions / approvals and SUDS drainage including attenuation. Off site highway schemes range from minor junction alterations to major highway improvement works affecting both the local and strategic / trunk road network.

The position is Infrastructure Engineer/Senior Engineer, reporting to the Principal Engineer and will be based in Bristol.

Working in a team of engineers and technicians, you will be required to undertake and deliver section 278 and 38 highway adoption projects. Ideally you will have analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD and PDS Standalone / AutoCAD and knowledge of WinDES being an advantage.

You would also be involved in alignment design and signs and road marking, drainage design; pavement design and refurbishment; design and delivery of highway maintenance schemes; safety barriers and asset inspections.
