Prodrive Recruitment, on behalf of our clients, are looking for an experienced Warehouse and Operations supervisor to join their busy team in Pershore.

What the Warehouse Manager role will consist of:

Staff Management

· Conducting Inductions

· Liaising with External Employment Agencies (for Ops Team Members)

· Submission of Time Sheets

· Conducting 1 to 1 Staff Appraisals

· Managing training Requirements of the Team

· Purchasing

· Inventory Control

· Weekly Inventory Checks

· Stock Replenishment / Purchase Order Generation

Health and Safety

• Conducting Risk Assessments for Operations Related Activities 
• Ensuring the warehouse is tidy, Aisles and exits are clear.
• Fire Marshal / First Aider
• Forklift Checks
• Fire Safety System (Evacuations, Weekly System Tests)
• Applying HACCAP related requirements to the supply chain process

Goods Inwards and logistics

• Unloading Delivery Vehicles
• Quantity and Quality Checks / System Updates
• Maintaining Cold Chain for Fresh Goods
• Liaising with Couriers

Storage and Inventory Management

• Undertaking stock movement of palletised goods using a forklift truck (training provided if necessary).
• Updating Stock Spreadsheets with Details of Stock Movements.
• Management of External Storage Partners
• Supporting the Switch towards a system-based stock control system
• Identifying Purchasing Requirements and liaising with purchasing team & suppliers
• Conducting Opening and Closing Checks
• Ensuring waste is properly sorted, removed from production areas, and disposed of
• Maintaining Yard Area

What you will need for the Warehouse Manager role:

• Experience in Warehouse Environment is essential and the ability to manage people well,
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Preferred but training can be provided)
• Narrow Aisle (Bendi) Forklift Licence (Preferred but training can be provided)
• Electric Pump truck License (Preferred but training can be provided)
• Driving License due to location of the company.

• Working hours for this role will be 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
• You will need to be flexible in the winter months due to a very busy period, so over time will be required for those periods.
