Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
Graduate Pricing Analyst – Personal Lines
£25,000 – £30,000 + excellent benefits
London EC3
•Contributing to the profitable development and performance of Personal Lines accounts, analysing accounts, recommending pricing actions.
•Monitoring and analysing account performance and trends.
•Evaluating new scheme propositions, rating and pricing.
•Identifying opportunities to optimise growth.
•Innovating and developing new pricing concepts.
•Analysing market trends and competitor activity.
•Supporting Underwriting, recommending new or enhanced underwriting rules and products.
Skills/experience required
•Maths/Statistics or Science related Degree
•Strong numerical/analytical/statistical skills.
•Highly computer literate – with an in depth knowledge of Excel, and aptitude to learn new systems.
•An understanding of modelling techniques and a flair for manipulating and interpreting data.
•Logical thinking, with ability to think laterally.
•Strong communication skills – confident to work with internal stakeholders and business partners at all levels.
•Strong written communication skills – ability to produce concise and clear reports.
•Experience or insight into the General insurance sector, with a good understanding of underwriting practices and principles, pricing mechanisms, regulatory framework and market trends.
