Salary: £420 – £480 per day
We have an immediate requirement for a Project Manager on a permanent basis. The client is a growing SME Main Contractor who are going from strength to strength. They have enjoyed a good level of growth over the last few years and are set to t/o c£300M in 2021.
They work on a wide range of projects in and around the London area such as residential apartments, commercial and student accommodation. Average projects are valued at £20M – £30m in value.
Our ideal Project Manager will have a minimum of five years post qualification experience. You will either be delivering projects as PM now, or be looking to take the step up to run your own projects. The Project Director you will report to will work closely with you and will put milestone targets into the programme to help you develop, if needed. You will have exposure to new build projects in excess of £10M in value and will ideally have some RC frame experience. An engineering background is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities for Project Manager:
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and to profit
* Undertake day-to-day delivery of construction projects in relation to change programmes
* Deliver projects from inception to completion or within the various stages of the project in accordance to a project execution plan
* Programme management
* Identification and management of risk
* Undertake contract administration
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders / clients throughout all stages of the project
* Assist in the application of effective change controls throughout the project
* Report project progress and any issues back to the Project Director
